Abstract

In a society in a permanent state of alert regarding the visible effects of climate change on our planet, there are not enough informed citizens on environmental issues. It is crucial to promote a change in environmental attitudes to adopt favorable behaviors towards the environment and consciously act applying skills for action. To promote environmental literacy, at an early stage is an adequate way to achieve this great goal. This work focuses on environmental literacy, a concept rarely addressed in the literature, though of great importance, since the times we live in require a more informed conscious society which will, above all, be more able to solve problems and to adopt environmental practices.
